Basketball Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

Mountain Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the O'Connor Eagles 79-21. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Eagles are ranked 18th).

Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for O'Connor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Mountain Ridge nor O'Connor have any future games scheduled.
