Basketball Game Preview: Paulding County Patriots vs. South Cobb Eagles

The Paulding County Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Cobb Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Paulding County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Campbell just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 71-63 to the Spartans.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when South Cobb duked it out withHillgrove on Tuesday. South Cobb had to suffer through a 71-14 loss at the hands of Hillgrove. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Cobb and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Paulding County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.

Paulding County came up short against South Cobb in their previous matchup back in November of 2015, falling 41-35. Can Paulding County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
