Baseball Recap: Waverly Gets the Win

Waverly won against Leslie back in March with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors beat the Jackson Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-3. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Iggy Arroyo, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Combs, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
