Christian Learning Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 86-73 to the Heritage Christian School Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Christian Learning Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-44 back in December of 2024.

Heritage Christian School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Reid, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards Reid has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elijah Reid, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 23 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Christian Learning Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Heritage Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Learning Academy will square off against Leesburg Christian Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage Christian School, they will face off against West Melbourne Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Heritage Christian School's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while West Melbourne Christian Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
