Mojave can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They never let the Sunrise Mountain Miners get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Rattlers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jaime Adame was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Adame was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those RBI were his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joshua Penalver, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Liam Glynn was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Mojave always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mojave's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Sunrise Mountain, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Mojave will take on Chaparral at 3:00 p.m. on March 24th. Mojave is facing Chaparral at the right time seeing as Chaparral is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Sunrise Mountain will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Democracy Prep Agassi Campus at 3:30 p.m. on March 24th. Sunrise Mountain has given up an average of 12 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
