Football Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Bluffton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Pirates, falling 49-6. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bluffton, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Jefferson will challenge Columbus Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bluffton, they will face off against Spencerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Bearcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
