Flag Football Game Preview: Apache Junction Prospectors vs. Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes

The Apache Junction Prospectors will face off against the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Thursday, Apache Junction came up short against Highland Prep West and fell 14-7.

Meanwhile, Arizona Lutheran Academy owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past Kingman, posting a 28-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Coyotes' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 86th).

Arizona Lutheran Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ella Miller and Jenna Danziezen. Danziezen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
