Baseball Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Dos Pueblos Chargers
Simi Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Dos Pueblos Chargers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Pioneers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On the hitting side, Simi Valley's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Quentin McGahan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.
