Preview: Berrien Rebels vs. Atkinson County Rebels
Berrien is 8-2 against Atkinson County since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Berrien Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Atkinson County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Berrien didn't have too much trouble with Irwin County at home as they won 56-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Berrien.
Meanwhile, Atkinson County strolled past Echols County with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-45. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Atkinson County has managed all season.
Berrien now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Atkinson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Berrien came up short against Atkinson County in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 69-57. Can Berrien avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
