Volleyball Recap: Fillmore Comes Up Short

Fillmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hueneme Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flashes of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Fillmore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hueneme, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fillmore will face off against Carpinteria at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hueneme, they will head out to take on Del Sol at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
