Softball Recap: North Brunswick Takes a Loss

On Friday, the North Brunswick Scorpions didn't have quite enough to beat the White Oak Vikings and fell 6-5.

Ava Moore was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Gomez, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for White Oak, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, North Brunswick will be playing at home against West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Brunswick is facing West Bladen at the right time seeing as West Bladen is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for White Oak, they will venture away from home to take on Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. White Oak is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
