Ottawa is 6-1 against Seneca since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m. The last four games Ottawa has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Ottawa didn't have quite enough to beat Kaneland and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Seneca put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over Coal City.

Seneca pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 28th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ottawa, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Everything went Ottawa's way against Seneca when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Ottawa made off with an 11-0 victory. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Irish turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
