Volleyball Recap: Isabella Collado and Kaylee Foreman Secure Win for Pine Crest

Pine Crest waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the FAU High Owls. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pine Crest's got stronger as the match went on, holding FAU High to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-9.

Leading Pine Crest to victory were Kaylee Foreman and Isabella Collado. Foreman had ten aces and seven digs, while Collado had five digs and three aces. What's more, Collado racked up 24 assists, the most she's had over her last four contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Florian, who had nine digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Pine Crest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Pine Crest's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for FAU High, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Pine Crest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Boca Raton Christian on the 26th. As for FAU High, they will head out on the road to challenge American Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
