Soccer Game Preview: Stony Point vs. Hutto

The Stony Point Tigers will face off against the Hutto Hippos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stony Point has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Stony Point managed to slip by Manor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Stony Point came up short against Manor on Friday, falling 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Tigers as the team haven't won a game since January 28th.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hutto, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They skirted past Round Rock 4-3. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hippos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Dragons are ranked 99th).

Hutto's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Stony Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
