Volleyball Recap: Belmont Wins Going Away Against Thurgood Marshall

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Preble Shawnee, Belmont was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Thurgood Marshall Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Belmont was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-11.

Belmont's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Thurgood Marshall, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Belmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Trotwood-Madison on the 18th. As for Thurgood Marshall, they will head out to challenge Meadowdale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
