Basketball Recap: Vincennes Rivet Falls Short of Borden in the Playoffs

Vincennes Rivet and Borden squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Vincennes Rivet had to settle for second. They fell to the Borden Braves 41-35. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Braves are ranked 34th).

Vincennes Rivet's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Borden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Vincennes Rivet nor Borden have any future games scheduled.
