Manitowoc Lutheran waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Reedsville Panthers. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Manitowoc Lutheran's got stronger as the match went on, holding Reedsville to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-11.

Leading Manitowoc Lutheran to victory were Lilly Mehlhorn and Morgan Jost. Mehlhorn had five digs and two aces, while Jost had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Mehlhorn has posted over her last four matches. Abigail Vetting also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Manitowoc Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Reedsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
