Baseball Recap: Mulberry Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Mulberry rose to the challenge on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Jesuit Tigers. Three seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Nic Partridge was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Mulberry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Jesuit, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 25-10 record.

As of now, neither Mulberry nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
