On Tuesday Ella Baswell struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The performance marked the fewest hits Baswell has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than zero earned runs. On the season, she has an ERA of 3.92 over 66 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Baswell and New Hope will venture away from home to square off against Madison County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
