Volleyball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends Hartselle's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Hartselle unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Bob Jones Patriots. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Hartselle was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bob Jones work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 26-24, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Hartselle still got an impressive performance from Taylor Reaviel, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Leading Bob Jones to victory were Brooklynn Morgan and Keira Blume. Morgan had 15 digs and three aces, while Blume had ten digs and one assist. Those 15 digs gave Morgan a new career-high.

Hartselle's loss dropped their record down to 36-11. As for Bob Jones, their record is now 36-13.

Hartselle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Decatur on the 7th. As for Bob Jones, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Hazel Green on the 7th.
