Preview: McComb Tigers vs. Lanier Bulldogs
McComb is 1-9 against Lanier since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The McComb Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Lanier Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
McComb scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 74-57 win over Wingfield. The win was just what McComb needed coming off of a 71-49 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Lanier didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wingfield on Monday, but they still walked away with a 47-41 win. The win was just what Lanier needed coming off of a 75-36 defeat in their prior game.
McComb has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Lanier, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
