Great Crossing is a perfect 10-0 against Scott County since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warhawks will venture away from home to square off against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Great Crossing will be strutting in after a win while Scott County will be coming in after a defeat.

Great Crossing barely beat West Jessamine the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warhawks put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warhawks.

One reason for the win was Great Crossing's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Scott County came up short against Sayre on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-19.

Great Crossing's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Scott County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-14.

Great Crossing beat Scott County 2-0 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warhawks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
