Basketball Recap: Hallsville Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Hallsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 45-38 win over the Whitehouse Wildcats on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bobcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 900th, while the Wildcats are ranked 379th).

Hallsville's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-23. As for Whitehouse, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Hallsville will challenge Nacogdoches at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitehouse, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Whitehouse Wildcats duke it out with the Texas Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
