Monroe has gone a perfect 3-0 against Delavan-Darien recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cheesemakers will look to defend their home field against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Monroe will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Monroe is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 55-44 to McFarland on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (42), the Cheesemakers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Delavan-Darien unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 36-7 loss at the hands of Evansville. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Delavan-Darien's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Monroe strolled past Delavan-Darien in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-13. Will the Cheesemakers repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
