Baseball Recap: Crosby Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

With a playoff win on the line, Crosby rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand College Station a 5-0 shutout. Five seems to be a good number for Crosby as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Crosby pushed their record up to 19-14-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for College Station, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.

Crosby will have a chance to go back-to-back against College Station: the pair will be back at it again later today.
