Softball Recap: North Buncombe Black Hawks vs. Tuscola Mountaineers
North Buncombe won the last time they faced Tuscola and things went their way on Monday too. The North Buncombe Black Hawks were the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over the Tuscola Mountaineers.
Sadie Jo Hunter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 20 Ks. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.
