Volleyball Recap: Grossmont Triumphs + How To Watch

Grossmont lost to Foothills Christian back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Foothillers came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Foothills Christian scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Alexis Holman paced Grossmont's offense, picking up 27 kills. Holman got some help from Mila Moyer and her 46 assists. Sofia Reid controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Foothills Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Olivia Morr had 26 assists and three aces.

Grossmont's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Foothills Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Grossmont and Foothills Christian will both be playing Hilltop the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Lancers at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Foothillers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
