Baseball Recap: Lutheran North Takes a Loss

Lutheran North fell victim to Winnetonka and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Griffins, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Crusaders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Lutheran North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Winnetonka, they moved to 7-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will venture away from home to face off against Lutheran South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lancers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. Winnetonka has already played their next game (against Raytown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
