Baseball Recap: Firth Takes a Loss

Firth and Nampa Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Firth had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 14th.

Firth's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Nampa Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Firth has already played their next matchup, a 10-9 victory against Challis on the 10th. Hopefully Nampa Christian paid attention to the Cougars' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
