The Mavericks came out on top against the Bronchos by a score of 7-3 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Bronchos: they've now won four in a row.

Reed Grimes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on two hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

At the plate, Jake Winger was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. McCutcheon is undefeated when Winger posts one or more home runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
