Basketball Recap: Lake Arthur Comes Up Short

Lake Arthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Gateway Christian Warriors, falling 47-12. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-22 on February 4th.

Lake Arthur's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Gateway Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gateway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
