Volleyball Game Preview: Mossyrock Vikings vs. Forks Spartans

The Mossyrock Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Forks Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mossyrock came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Onalaska, falling 3-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Loggers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Forks suffered their biggest loss since September 30th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to Rainier. Considering the last time the Spartans couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Forks' defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for Mossyrock, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Mossyrock skirted past Forks 3-2 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
