Basketball Game Preview: Kamiah Kubs vs. Logos Knights

Kamiah has gone 6-1 against Logos recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Kamiah Kubs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Logos Knights at 6:00 p.m. Logos took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kamiah, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Kamiah really took it to Timberline for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-19 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Kubs just coasted through the last quarter.

It was another big night for Emma Krogh, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsee Hunt, who posted seven points and nine assists.

Kamiah was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Logos was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Potlatch.

The victory made it two in a row for Kamiah and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Logos, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Kamiah beat Logos 38-26 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Does Kamiah have another victory up their sleeve, or will Logos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
