Football Recap: Pea Ridge Comes Up Short

Pea Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Morrilton Devil Dogs, falling 45-13. If the Blackhawks were looking for revenge after losing 56-27 to the Devil Dogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pea Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Morrilton, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Pea Ridge will welcome Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Morrilton, they will take on Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
