South Charleston was not the first on the board  on Saturday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Princeton Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South Charleston also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2024.
 Kaedyn Holmes and  Braxton Burke scored both of South Charleston's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.
South Charleston's win bumped their record up to 6-8-3. As for Princeton,  with the  loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-5-2.
 Looking ahead, South Charleston will square off against Oak Hill at 8:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Charleston will be up against Oak Hill's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6  goals per  match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Princeton, they will challenge Capital at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
