Georgetown is 6-1 against Dillon since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Georgetown came up short against Waccamaw and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Dillon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. While the 4-4 score might suggest a draw, it was Darlington who was credited with the victory. The Falcons got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to Dillon's zero. Even if Dillon couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

The defeat was their first on the road, dropping their record down to 8-3. As for Dillon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Georgetown got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Dillon by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
