Soccer Recap: Southeast Guilford Takes a Loss

Southeast Guilford lost against Page back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons lost 4-0 to the Pirates. While losing is never fun, Southeast Guilford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while Page are ranked 109th).

This is the second loss in a row for Southeast Guilford and nudges their season record down to 1-11. As for Page, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast Guilford will take on rival Grimsley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Page is set to square off against their familiar foe Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
