Baseball Recap: Cornerstone Comes Up Short

The Cornerstone Eagles came up short against the Fultondale Wildcats on Thursday, falling 12-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cornerstone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fultondale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone will look to defend their home field on Monday against Vincent at 7:00 p.m. As for Fultondale, they will head out on the road to take on Central at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
