The Howard Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Hephzibah Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Howard took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let Westside onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The match marked the Huskies 's most dominant win of the season.

Abby Davis was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Davis was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hephzibah). They blew past Academy of Richmond County 19-3 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Rebels who have now won three matchups in a row.

Howard's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Hephzibah, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.
