Baseball Game Preview: Highline Pirates vs. Foster Bulldogs

Highline is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Foster a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Highline Pirates will be playing in front of their home fans against the Foster Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Monday, Highline came up short against Interlake and fell 6-3.

Highline saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zennin Luiz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Renton hit Foster with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Hawks. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 18, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Anthony Marshall was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Foster's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Highline, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
