Meanwhile, Cardinal Newman took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-34 win over Napa. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-12.

Cardinal Newman is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Casa Grande, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
