Preview: Moody Bearcats vs. Rosebud-Lott Cougars
The Moody Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rosebud-Lott Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Moody's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bruceville-Eddy.
Meanwhile, Rosebud-Lott fell victim to Marlin's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Bulldogs 34-0. It was the first time this season that Rosebud-Lott let down their fans at home.
Moody's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.0 points per game. As for Rosebud-Lott, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Moody was taken down by Rosebud-Lott 41-13 in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Will Moody have more luck at home instead of on the road?
