The biggest upset of the week belonged to Virginia Episcopal School, who took down 114th ranked Christchurch School, 20-13.
North Cross extended the longest winning streak in VISFA Old Dominion this week by beating Norfolk Christian, 52-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Raiders.
North Cross' dynamic duo of Max Revercomb and Jordan Lowery proved tough for the Ambassadors to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Revercomb threw for 213 yards and four touchdowns and Lowery had 141 yards receiving. Evan Anderson helped North Cross' passing attack out by catching two balls for 44 yards.
Austin Llera was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 23 carries, he ran for 168 yards as Covenant defeated Norfolk Christian. Brady Doyle also contributed to the rushing game with 37 yards on the ground.
North Cross' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Revercomb has thrown for 1754 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Lowery has 39 catches for 603 yards. Anderson leads the league in rushing with 1080 yards.
Jamie Gaston has rushed for 965 yards on 154 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in VISFA Old Dominion this week will be when Blue Ridge takes on the Seahorses. As it stands, the Barons are in second, while Christchurch School is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Blue Ridge takes on Ed Homer's team. Orlando Patterson's team has allowed 184 points this season, while the Seahorses have given up 153. The Barons allowed 12 points last week as they topped St. Anne's-Belfield.
The Bishops moved up to 183 from 216 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Virginia Episcopal School was able to make move up by beating Christchurch School 20-13.
