Basketball Game Preview: Fremd Vikings vs. New Trier Trevians

The Fremd Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the New Trier Trevians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremd will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Fremd was able to grind out a solid win over Conant, taking the game 54-46. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Cougars are ranked 174th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, New Trier posted their biggest victory since January 7th on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-43 win over McHenry.

Fremd's record now sits at 21-2. As for New Trier, their record now sits at 19-7.
