Softball Recap: Northridge Knights vs. Hunter Wolverines
Northridge and Hunter squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Northridge had to settle for second. They lost 18-11 to the Wolverines. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 16-15.
Braylynn McClellan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Berklee Larsen, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Northridge has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Hunter, their record is now 11-15.
