Baseball Recap: Benedictine Takes a Loss

Benedictine blew Walsingham Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Walsingham Academy got their revenge. The Cadets fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cadets have suffered since March 10th.

Benedictine has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Walsingham Academy, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benedictine will welcome Trinity Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walsingham Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Norfolk Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
