Softball Recap: Benicia's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Benicia entered their tilt with Turlock on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Turlock Bulldogs. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Leilani Andrews was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Emma French, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Benicia's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Turlock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Coming up, Benicia will take on Amador Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Turlock, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Gregori at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Gregori their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
