Volleyball Recap: Norwell Beats Adams Central for Their 13th Straight Win

Norwell had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Adams Central Flying Jets. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flying Jets, too.

Norwell walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 14-25, 25-17.

Autumn Lee was nothing short of spectacular: she had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matches. Aubryn Keller was another key player, getting 11 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Norwell was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.

Adams Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jencee Foster, who had 18 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Pruitt, who had six digs and three aces.

Norwell's record is now 23-3. As for Adams Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Norwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bellmont on the 30th. As for Adams Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
