Basketball Recap: Academy at the Lakes Victorious

Academy at the Lakes's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 44-35 victory over the Universal Academy Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-42 back in November of 2024.

Academy at the Lakes' win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Universal Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Academy at the Lakes will take on Canterbury at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Universal Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Riverview Academy of Math and Science at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
