Lewis Came Up Big in Ontario Christian's 28-21 Victory
Starting off the list is Ontario Christian's Zander Lewis, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. While Capistrano Valley Christian might've come up empty on Friday, Joshua Monroe wasn't going down without a fight. Village Christian had no answer to Monroe as he rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.

Champ Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Champ Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102). He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.
The win (which was Aquinas's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Brown and Aquinas will be playing at home against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dwight "Dj" Deranja posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss).
